Client: SEDATU (The Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development of Mexico)
At IDC Collective, we are passionate about using our creative expertise to make a meaningful impact in the world. When SEDATU approached us for their urban improvement program, “Mi Mexico Late,” we saw an opportunity to do just that. This initiative aimed to revitalize low-income communities in Mexico by rehabilitating public spaces and homes, and our role was crucial in making it a reality.
The Challenge: SEDATU needed post-production services, including color correction and animated maps, to enhance their project’s visual appeal and informative value. They sought to create engaging, GPS-inspired animated maps that highlighted infrastructure and construction sites, while also requiring color correction for their extensive video footage.
Our Solution: Collaborating with the talented team at Cazalec Studio, we combined our creative forces to bring SEDATU’s vision to life.
1. Animated Maps: Our team designed animated maps with a GPS look and feel, making it easier for viewers to follow the progress of the “Mi Mexico Late” program. Animated location points were added, providing essential information about infrastructure and construction sites, thus increasing the overall impact of the project.
2. Color Correction: We meticulously color-corrected all the edits provided to us, ensuring a visually cohesive and engaging narrative. Our expertise brought out the vibrant colors and details, making the program’s visuals truly captivating.
3. Graphic Packaging: In addition to animated maps and color correction, we handled the graphic packaging, including lower thirds, transitions, animated graphics, and more. This comprehensive approach added a professional touch to the project and made the information more accessible to the audience.
Our collaboration with Cazalec Studio, and a special thanks to Producer Helena Lecona, proved to be the perfect blend of creative minds, resulting in a successful urban improvement program. By infusing our expertise and passion for creative services, we were able to support SEDATU’s mission in revitalizing low-income communities and creating a brighter future for Mexico.
