CFE's Energy-Saving Agreement TV Spot
In 2015, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) embarked on a mission to create a compelling TV commercial to promote their partnership with PROFECO and FIDE. This partnership aimed to protect, respect, and promote the rights and obligations of electricity consumers in Mexico, while fostering a culture of responsible energy consumption.
CFE required an end-to-end production service to produce a 30-second TV commercial that would air during official and commercial schedules. This is where IDC Collective stepped in, accepting the challenge to creatively convey the importance of responsible energy consumption.
For this endeavor, IDC Collective forged a partnership with the experienced professionals at “DARUM Producciones,” a renowned production studio. Together, they set out to bring their vision to life in the form of a TV commercial titled “Modernización de la red eléctrica del Centro Histórico.” This commercial aimed to narrate the story of the modernization of the historic electric grid.
IDC Collective assumed full responsibility for every aspect of the project, from pre-production to production and post-production. This included tasks such as casting actors and musicians and scouting appropriate locations, all with the goal of effectively conveying the message of responsible energy consumption.
The success of this TV commercial was the result of a collaborative effort. Producer Uriel Garcia from DARUM Producciones and the creative leadership of Julio Godefroy from IDC Collective were instrumental in turning this vision into a reality. Their dedication and expertise played a pivotal role in the project’s success.
